Job summary

COIT Cleaning and Restoration Services seeks a hands-on Chief Financial Officer to join our executive team. The CFO will partner with the CEO and board to drive financial strategy, oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, and lead finance staff across controls, tax, and audits.

The role requires extensive CFO-level experience in growing organizations, strong ERP and systems implementation skills, and excellent communication with external auditors and financial partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA preferred.
• MBA preferred.
• Big 4 Public Accounting background preferred.
• 6+ years’ CFO experience in a $30M+ company.

Responsibilities

• Act as CFO and strategic partner to the senior leadership team.
• Assess financial performance against long-term goals, budgets and forecasts.
• Identify and implement financial systems to improve information flow and efficiency.
• Coordinate with Board, CEO, and executives on plans and performance.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Oversee accounting, tax, and internal controls; ensure compliance.
• Lead external audits and manage relationships with auditors and bankers.
• Hire and mentor finance staff; develop team capabilities.
• Manage cash flow and investment opportunities.
• Represent company to banks and public auditors.
