Jackson Lewis P.C. is seeking a Case Staffing Manager to allocate and staff legal matters across the firm. The role will act as a floater initially and may align to specific offices as practices expand.

The position requires assessing attorney workloads, strengths, and availability to assign matters and ensure billable hours targets are met, while maintaining a client-focused approach across local offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; JD preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a litigation law firm; employment law preferred.
• Proven work in fast-paced, high-volume work environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the assignment of attorneys to matters based on skills and availability.
• Manage matter staffing and transitions during departures or new hires.
• Maintain client-focused relationships and strengthen firm-client engagement.
• Ensure caseloads meet billable requirements and use firm resources effectively.
