Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager to lead strategic engagement with top accounts and to drive cardiovascular product utilization across inpatient and outpatient settings.

The role requires building strong relationships with hospital leadership, payors, and clinical leads, while coordinating with matrix teams and MSLs to align plan execution with portfolio strategy. A competitive compensation package accompanies this opportunity.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, 2 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience.
• Masters, 4 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience.
• Bachelor's degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience.
• 3+ years of account management and/or public payor experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced degree (e.g. MPH, MBA, PharmD) 7+ years of healthcare sales and/or marketing experience or related experience in buying processes.

Responsibilities

• Serves as strategic lead for assigned key accounts, executing compliant, innovative strategies to engage priority providers.
• Ensure institutional availability across inpatient and ambulatory care settings.
• Lead implementation initiatives that enable sustainable, institution/system utilisation.
• Develop and execute comprehensive account plans aligned to cardiovascular business unit strategy.
• Collaborates closely with field teams including compliant partnership with aligned medical science liaison(s).
• Responsible for meeting with appropriate opinion leaders in Cardiology, Lipidology, Pharmacy, P&T Committee, etc.
• Presents MAC approved data/messages and ensures compliant delivery within policies.
• Accountable for ensuring targeted accounts drive appropriate utilization of CV products.
