Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager to lead strategic accounts, develop comprehensive plans, and drive portfolio performance across inpatient and ambulatory settings. You will partner with matrix teams and medical science liaisons to execute compliant, data-driven strategies.

The role emphasizes relationship-building with hospital leaders, payor stakeholders, and clinical partners to optimize access and utilization of Amgen CV products.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of sales or account management experience.
• Master’s degree and 4 years of sales or account management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of sales or account management experience.
• 3+ years of account management and/or public payor experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced degree (e.g. MPH, MBA, PharmD) 7+ years of healthcare sales experience or related experience.
• Cardiology experience and related clinical exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic accounts with compliant, innovative strategies to engage priority providers.
• Ensure institutional availability across inpatient and ambulatory care settings.
• Lead implementation initiatives enabling sustainable utilization.
• Develop and execute account plans aligned to cardiovascular strategy.
• Collaborate with field teams and medical science liaisons as appropriate.
• Build relationships with hospital decision-makers and payor stakeholders.
