Job summary

Alliance Group, Inc. seeks a Risk Management & Captive Insurance Manager to lead its P&C claims and captive programs across operating companies in the United States.

This hands-on role partners with Finance, Legal, Safety and executive leadership to optimize total cost of risk and claims strategy. You will manage retention strategies, coordinate with TPAs and carriers, analyze losses, and report on captive performance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in commercial P&C insurance or captive programs.
• Experience managing P&C claims across multiple operating companies.
• Experience with captive insurance structures and retention planning.
• Ability to analyze claim and loss data to influence risk decisions.
• Strong collaboration with Finance, Legal, Safety, and executives.
• Professional designations (ARM/CPCU/AIC) are helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as internal owner for P&C claims across participating operating companies, including workers’ compensation, automobile liability, general liability and property.
• Establish guidelines for insurance claims vs. direct handling with deductibles and captive funding considerations.
• Oversee claims strategy and reserves with TPAs, adjusters, brokers, and carriers.
• Coordinate annual P&C renewal processes and captive reporting.
• Develop reporting on claims frequency, severity, and total cost of risk by company.
