Job summary

The Chemours Company is hiring a Capital Project Estimator to join our team. This hybrid role supports multiple sites in the Central/Eastern time zones and requires 7+ years of estimating experience in petrochemical or heavy industrial settings.

You will develop conceptual to check-authorization estimates and influence project decisions. Based in the Central or Eastern time zones, you may travel to Chemours facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of estimating experience in petrochemical, heavy industrial or related industry.
• Experience with Aspen Capital Cost Estimator and Aspen In Plant Cost estimator.
• Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provides business-specific conceptual estimates in support of early investment options.
• Prepares all estimate types based on project progression.
• Ensures estimates meet industry quality requirements for each step in the gate process.
• Generates cost-reduction concepts and improves work processes.
• Leads execution of early estimate plans through project implementation.
• Maintains estimating system cost libraries and historical data.
• Assists Risk Competency Leads and discusses estimate impacts on the risk process.
• Distributes benchmark data to gauge performance and drive improvement.
