Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Development Specialist to identify and convert new opportunities across ICT and Wire & Cable segments within Dow’s Packaging & Specialty Plastics business. The role focuses on expanding market presence by developing customers, applications, and market segments, working with Marketing, TS&D, Product Management, and Commercial teams.

Preferred location is Houston, TX, with Midland, MI or a US-virtual option considered. Travel up to 50% may be required. U.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or military experience at or above a US E5.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
Willingness to travel up to 50%.
US work authorization; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Responsibilities

Identify, qualify, and develop new customer and application opportunities.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and projects.
Collaborate with Marketing to identify trends and growth segments.
Work with TS&D, Product Management, and Commercial teams to accelerate growth.
Lead market expansion and new business development from prospecting to launch.
Engage decision-makers to build relationships and close opportunities.
Forecast, manage pipeline, and support business planning for growth initiatives.
Deliver growth targets through new customer wins and applications.
