Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Development Specialist to identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities within ICT and Wire & Cable segments of P&SP.

The role focuses on expanding Dow’s market presence by generating new opportunities and working with Marketing, TS&D, Product Management, and Commercial teams to accelerate growth. Preferred location is Houston, TX, with consideration for Midland, MI or virtual options within the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or relevant military experience equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant working experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• US work authorization; no visa sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

• Lead identification, qualification, and development of new customer opportunities aligned with growth priorities.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and projects.
• Partner with Marketing to identify market trends and growth segments.
• Collaborate with TS&D, Product Management, and Supply Chain to evaluate feasibility and accelerate commercialization.
• Develop and execute market penetration strategies for new applications and accounts.
• Engage decision-makers to build relationships and uncover opportunities.
• Gather market intelligence to guide strategy and innovation priorities.
• Lead opportunity development from prospecting to proposal and launch.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution.
