Job summary

Texas Capital Bank in Austin, TX is seeking a Business Development Officer I to identify opportunities across the full product suite for middle-market and corporate clients. You will generate sales opportunities, prospect new clients, and coordinate with Relationship Managers to advance opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field.
Minimum of three years commercial banking experience preferred with focus on middle market and corporate clients or other relevant business development/sales experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written, with ability to communicate with all levels of employees, management, internal partners, and clients.

Responsibilities

Ensure appropriate prospect coverage through disciplined calling efforts, understanding the prospect’s objectives and working with product partners to identify opportunities.
Develop and maintain a robust prospect acquisition pipeline.
Effectively transfer opportunities to Relationship Managers (RM).
Embrace sales excellence processes to align with product partners on delivering banking solutions.
Maintain focus on achieving production goals and calling metrics.
Stay current on financial markets and relevant regulations affecting clients.
Monitor business trends to remain relevant with prospects.
Surface issues to leadership for visibility and resolution.
