The Business Development Director – Midwest or Southeast will expand the top line by building and maintaining client relationships, targeting opportunities for marketing our programs, and ensuring sales goals and margins are met. Travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Risk Management is required.
• CPCU and/or ARM designation preferred.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to develop and implement sales and service plans.
• Experience in claims management or risk management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, develops and maintains internal and external relationships/partnerships.
• Builds relationships with prospects.
• Facilitates the development of new partnerships and implementations of client programs.
• Develops knowledge of prospect operations to target needs for marketing programs.
• Ensures resources for prospect solicitation and service teams are identified.
• Uses national resources to respond to RFPs, proposals, and presentations.
• Manages design of service programs to fulfill client needs.
• Develops and implements an annual sales and service plan and meets sales goals ($2-3 million).
• Travels as required.
