Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of business development experience
• Strong understanding of U.S. contracting and budgeting processes
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Strong planning, organization, project management, and time management abilities
• Demonstrated ability to work through complex, ambiguous problems
• Advanced knowledge of company products, markets, and technology
• U.S. Citizenship is required and active DOD security clearance or ability to obtain one

Aufgaben

• Promote and foster continued business development opportunities with existing customers
• Expand and grow the business base by developing new customer relationships
• Support and meet bookings forecasts under senior leadership guidance
• Own the accuracy and achievement of bookings forecast and plan
• Visit prospective, new, and existing customers regularly
• Perform competitive market analysis and monitor activity
• Formulate and execute marketing plans to support financial objectives
• Support bid and proposal budgets
• Contribute to development of business plans and capture plans
• Coordinate engagement and market strategy with Program Management, Engineering, and Manufacturing
• Represent the organization and deliver presentations on products and services
• Attend business meetings and industry trade shows
