Fifth Third Bank in Austin seeks a Business Banking Relationship Manager II to develop and manage a portfolio of small to mid-sized business clients. You will drive relationship growth, coordinate treasury management and lending solutions, and work with product teams to deliver tailored financial services.

The role requires 3+ years of sales/relationship management in business banking, credit risk experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years sales experience; 3 years managing business banking or commercial relationships preferred.
• Formalized credit training or equivalent credit risk experience required; underwriting experience preferred.
• Strong business acumen; ability to review financial statements and understand accounting principles.
• Knowledge of Commercial & Treasury Management services and financing options.
• Ability to assess client needs, profitability drivers, and lifecycle financial solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; capable of face-to-face negotiations and presentations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM tools.

Responsabilités

• Prospect for new clients using referrals, existing clients, financial centers, and centers of influence.
• Collaborate with product partners to develop tailored relationship strategies for each client or prospect.
• Attend industry events to broaden networks and knowledge of trends and competition.
• Retain and grow long-term profitable client relationships.
• Cross-sell applicable Fifth Third products to existing business customers and their owners/senior management.
• Plan and conduct relationship strategy and review meetings with product partners.
• Coordinate all client-facing activities including credit support and other product partners.
• Pre-call planning and post-call follow up using One Bank Consultative Sales approach.
• Utilize CRM for client activity tracking, call reports and pipeline management.
• Partner with Portfolio Managers and Credit Officers on credit requests and adhere to guidelines.
• Monitor client financial performance and credit exposure risks.
• Complete administrative responsibilities in a timely manner.
