Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is seeking a City of Industry-based Business Banking Relationship Manager II to grow a portfolio of mid-market clients and expand long-term relationships. You’ll collaborate with product partners to tailor strategies and deliver comprehensive banking services.

You will prospect, manage risk, and drive cross-sell across loans, deposits, treasury management, and related services while prioritizing client experience and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years sales experience; minimum of 3 years managing business banking or commercial relationships preferred.
• Formalized credit training or equivalent credit risk experience required. Underwriting experience preferred.
• Proven ability to build new and existing client business and provide a positive client experience.
• Strong business acumen, to include detailed analysis, review of financial statements and knowledge in advanced accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new clients by utilizing referral sources, existing clients, financial centers and centers of influence.
• Work with product partners to analyze, evaluate and develop a tailored relationship strategy for each client or prospect.
• Attend community and industry forums to broaden networks and deepen knowledge of trends and services.
