Job summary

VT Group (VTG) in McLean, VA is seeking a Financial Services Budget Execution Analyst SME to lead and monitor budgets within the Intelligence Community framework. You will oversee development, execution, spend plans, contracts, and financial commitments, ensuring accurate forecasting and fiscal oversight across directorates and offices.

The role requires TS/SCI with Polygraph, a Finance/Accounting/Economics degree with extensive IC budgeting experience, and deep IPPBE knowledge.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics with 12–15 years of relevant experience or Master’s with 10–13 years.
• Minimum 7–10 years government budgeting experience, including 3–5 years in the Intelligence Community.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development, execution, and monitoring of budgets, spend plans, contracts, and financial commitments.
• Record, track, and certify payments and interagency transactions (Economy Act, etc.).
• Generate detailed budget reports and funding/activity summaries for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal and IC partners to align budgets with program goals and IPPBE deadlines.
• Assist in budget submissions and develop fiscal guidance and implementation schedules for each budget phase.
