Job summary

Braven is seeking a Head of Board and Council Engagement to lead strategy and execution behind Braven's board management and its growing councils. You will ensure external expertise, champions, and influence to help reach Braven's ambition, reporting to the Chief External Affairs Officer and collaborating with the CEO and regional directors.

Over the next 2–3 years, you will build a small, high-impact team to support governance work, and develop materials and programs for national and regional

Qualifications

• BS/BA or relevant experience.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience working with boards and high-profile individuals.
• Strong governance, fundraising, and stakeholder-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Set vision and goals for national and regional boards; develop templates and materials for board moments.
• Lead strategy, materials, and systems for advisory councils (Employer Partners, Faculty, Higher Ed Presidents, Tech, etc).
• Manage national board and council engagement, bi-weekly or monthly check-ins with members.
• Oversee governance operations, data collection, and stewardship across national and regional levels.
• Project-manage national board meetings and annual joint board convenings.
