Job summary

Braven is seeking a Head of Board and Council Engagement to lead strategy and execution for Braven's national and regional boards and growing councils. You will report to the Chief External Affairs Officer and collaborate with the CEO and regional leaders to enhance governance, external expertise, and strategic influence across the nonprofit’s programs.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or relevant experience.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Set the vision and strategic plan for national and regional boards.
• Develop profiles for board and council members.
• Create governance materials and systems for Braven's boards and councils.
• Manage national board and council giving; support revenue goals.
• Lead a small team to support governance work over 2–3 years.
• Collaborate with CEO and regional Directors to cultivate boards.
