Job summary

Braven, a national nonprofit, seeks an Associate Director, Higher Education Partnerships, to shape strategy and partnership structures across 5–7 university sites. You will enable Regional Senior Directors to deepen relationships through scalable frameworks, portfolio analysis, and thoughtful resource allocation.

You will lead one of Braven’s national convening bodies, drive annual strategy and execution, and collaborate with Legal on agreement terms.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent experience in higher education partnerships, program strategy, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and make independent strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary strategic thought partner to Regional Senior Directors across 5–7 sites.
• Develop and steward frameworks for partnership structures, including grant incentives and funding.
• Represent HEP strategy in cross-functional planning and portfolio reviews.
• Lead one national convening body for higher education leaders (HEP Convening or Faculty Council).
• Drive MOU renewals and terms with Legal input and cross-functional teams.
• Define and improve systems and data processes (Salesforce, Asana) for portfolio reporting.
