Job summary

Silvus Technologies is seeking a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with USSOCOM requirements. The role involves supporting technical planning, network configuration, and live field trials for StreamCaster MANET radios, with up to 50% travel.

Reporting to the Director of Applications Engineering, you will work with engineering and business development teams to map operational needs to technical solutions while engaging with USSOCOM and component commands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering or related field with 2–5 years’ experience.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP-based routing protocols, or tactical communication systems.
• Security clearance: Government SECRET or ability to obtain within 15 months.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical capabilities and interoperability of StreamCaster radios across multi-domain environments.
• Assist in field trials, modernizations and user evaluations with USSOCOM.
• Translate field feedback into product roadmap inputs for SOF operators.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Business Development to meet strategic priorities.
