Silvus Technologies is seeking a Business Development Engineer, USSOCOM, to bridge RF capabilities with USSOCOM needs. You will work with engineering and business development to support acquisitions, demonstrations, and field-readiness of StreamCaster MANET radios.

The role involves frequent travel (up to 50%), collaboration across teams, and contributing to technical demonstrations for low-signature, rugged edge environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field.
• 2–5 years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering, technical business development, or defense technology roles.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.

Responsabilités

• Analyze USSOCOM capability gaps and SOF-peculiar communications requirements.
• Support technical planning, network configuration, and field trials.
• Collaborate to verify proposed architectures are technically sound.
• Assist Business Development in engaging with USSOCOM stakeholders.
• Travel 50% to sites, labs, and field-testing environments.
