Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Billing Account Executive in the United States to drive revenue growth by selling Stripe's billing and related financial products to both new and existing customers. You will collaborate with core sales, product, and marketing teams to develop deep product knowledge and execute strategic deals.

You will lead product discussions, manage a territory, and translate complex technical requirements into practical solutions for executives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of sales or prospecting experience at a technology company.
• Direct sales experience closing new business and expanding existing users.
• Ability to build strong collaborative relationships with business partners.
• Thrives in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
• Self-starter capable of driving results with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills, especially for in-person meetings with multiple stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead complex negotiations with bespoke commercial agreements.
• Ability to understand complex technical requirements and craft cross-functional solutions.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue to achieve and overperform on targets.
• Lead new sales and upsell conversations for Stripe.
• Drive strategic thought leadership within assigned territory to ensure user success and revenue growth.
• Understand the sales process and competitors for Stripe, including software, hardware, and payments.
• Serve as internal and customer-facing expert on Stripe products.
• Relay customer feedback to inform Stripe's product roadmap.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and User Operations to amplify growth.
