Job summary

Workday Talent Hub is seeking a Benefits Specialist to design, implement and optimize employee benefits programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and value for employees and the organization. You will act as the primary contact for benefits, driving data-driven decisions and excellent service.

You will support benchmarking studies, design programs aligned with demographics, and collaborate across teams to communicate changes while managing leave processes in a compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business Administration or related field.
• 3–5+ years of progressive benefits administration experience.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.
• Customer-first attitude and genuine desire to help others.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in a team.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of ACA, FMLA, ERISA.

Responsibilities

• Support market research and benchmarking to evaluate benefits positioning.
• Assist design and recommend benefits programs aligned with goals and demographics.
• Assist cost-benefit analyses for proposed benefits initiatives.
• Advise employees and dependents on benefits, liaising with providers.
• Anticipate concerns and provide holistic solutions with stakeholders.
• Collaborate to create a multi-channel benefits communication plan.
• Manage the full-cycle leave of absence process (FMLA, ADA, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local leave laws.
• Create and maintain benefits documentation and process guidelines.
• Analyze benefits data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Other duties as assigned.
