Job summary

High Profile is helping its client hire a Benefits & LOA Specialist to support employee benefits, leave of absence, and accommodation programs. This role is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented HR professional with strong customer service skills and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and confidential employee information.

You will process leave requests (FMLA, ADA, PWFA, military, state leaves), respond to routine employee questions, and update HRIS.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, customer service, organizational, and data-entry skills.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with HRIS platforms (ADP a plus).

Responsibilities

• Process leave requests, including FMLA, ADA, PWFA, military, workers compensation, and state-specific leaves.
• Respond to routine employee questions regarding benefits, leave requirements, documentation, and enrollment.
• Track leave deadlines, certifications, return-to-work dates, and accommodation requests.
• Assist with benefits enrollments, qualifying life events, terminations, and employee communications.
• Update HRIS and vendor systems, coordinate with third-party administrators, and communicate leave status changes to payroll.
• Monitor benefit premiums during leave and maintain accurate payment records.
• Maintain confidential employee and medical records in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Prepare weekly leave reports, assist with audits, and research discrepancies across HRIS, payroll, and benefits systems.
