Job summary

Proliance Surgeons is seeking a strategic Manager of Benefits and Leave of Absence to drive comprehensive health and welfare, retirement, PTO, and LOA programs. You will partner with senior HR leaders to align benefits with talent objectives and ensure compliance across federal, state, and local regulations.

You will lead vendor management, data analytics, and education programs while coaching HR teams. This role is remote for a 1.0 FTE with potential conversion to permanent in WA if applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required.
• 5–7 years of progressive HR and benefits experience.
• SHRM-SCP or SPHR preferred.
• Experience with HRIS platforms Dayforce or Workday.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute a comprehensive benefit and leave strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Oversee administration of health, welfare, retirement, PTO, and LOA programs.
• Manage vendor relationships, including contracts and service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA and WA requirements.
• Analyze benefits data to inform strategy and manage costs.
• Lead education programs for retirement plans including 401(k) match and profit sharing.
