Job summary

Acrisure is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Manager to join our Denver team. The role serves as the primary day-to-day contact for service needs of external and internal clients, coordinating service delivery and insurance processing.

The candidate will manage account transactions, respond to inquiries, and support coverage strategies. The position emphasizes expertise in Applied Systems/EPIC and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active Health & Life license required.
• 3+ years of experience in employee benefits; experience with unbundled, self-funded, and level funded plans preferred.
• CPCU or special training is a plus.
• Knows and applies principles of insurance to everyday situations.

Responsibilities

• Service accounts and handle quotes, policy issuance, ID cards, endorsements, certificates, renewals.
• Respond to client inquiries promptly.
• Develop coverage strategies as necessary.
• Insurance marketing and sales.
• Collect renewal data on assigned accounts.
• Provide claims support as needed.
• Maintain accuracy in agency management system (Applied Systems/EPIC).
• Document all activities in the agency management system (Applied Systems/EPIC).
• Assist other departments in issuing policies for mutual clients.
• Keep Producers informed of important activities.
• Keep current with industry trends and license compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of underwriting requirements of contracted insurers.
• Complete other functions and backup duties.
