Job summary

The Misch Group is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Executive to manage a complex benefits book and serve as the primary service contact for clients. You will provide consultative guidance, lead renewals, and promote value-added services to enhance profitability while staying current on market conditions and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include coordinating with carriers, updating records, and supporting open enrollment.

Qualifications

• BA or BS required.
• 3 years of related experience required.
• Life, Accident and Health License required; professional designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a complex book of business with varying funding mechanisms and complex contract features.
• Serve as primary contact between clients and carriers to drive retention and growth, with regular client and carrier partner communications.
• Lead renewal processes and conduct client meetings regarding renewals and utilization review.
• Promote new products through regular visits and communications with intermediaries to increase profitability of existing lines.
• Maintain current knowledge of market conditions and competitors’ products as a technical expert for credibility with clients.
• Support open enrollment activities, including preparation, communications and scheduling.
• Keep documentation up to date with HIPAA and company procedures, and ensure the agency management system is current.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
• Adhere to company risk management practices and regulatory compliance requirements.
