Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency seeks a Benefits Account Manager to oversee client benefit programs and coordinate with Producers, Account Managers, and vendors. You will manage workflows, renewals, and communications to ensure high-quality service for small and less complex accounts.

Responsibilities include vendor negotiations, binder preparation, market outreach, and client meetings coordination, with a focus on proactive problem solving, confidentiality, and teamwork. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Maintain Group 1 License.
• 3-5 years of Benefits Account Manager experience preferred.
• Operational knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher.
• Ability to travel to meet client service needs.
• Bilingual Spanish a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Client Insurance Program and coordinate with the Producer.
• Delegate tasks to Account Manager and other team members as per Benefits Timeline.
• Renewal bid/RFP strategy and carrier/TPA/vendor negotiations.
• Oversee marketing binder creation and carrier follow-up for quotes.
• Prepare client materials and attend meetings to service clients.
