Job summary

Empowered Staffing LLC is seeking an experienced Account Executive to lead a portfolio of mid‑market employee benefits clients. You will drive executive conversations, tailor benefit solutions, and guide the account team to deliver superior service.

You will oversee renewals, RFP processes, and plan design, balancing cost, coverage, and employee experience. Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in employee benefits consulting, brokerage, account management, or related insurance environment.
• Strong knowledge of medical, dental, vision, life, disability and ancillary plans.
• Experience leading client renewals, carrier negotiations, RFPs and benefit implementations.
• Ability to analyze benefit programs and develop cost‑effective solutions.
• Experience managing mid‑market or similarly complex client relationships.
• Proven ability to lead and develop Account Managers or supporting team members.
• Strong understanding of employee benefits regulations and compliance practices.
• Active state insurance license or ability to obtain one in time.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with clients, executives, decision makers, carriers, brokers, and partners.
• Lead executive-level conversations and strategy for a portfolio of mid‑market clients.
• Oversee the account team and ensure high standard of service delivery.
• Design competitive, cost‑effective employee benefit programs across coverages.
• Guide clients through renewals, plan design, funding options, and compliance issues.
• Lead finalist presentations, renewal meetings, and annual rollout events.
• Identify opportunities to improve service, satisfaction, and retention.
