Job summary

Energy Environmental Group (EEG) seeks a Senior Business Development professional to drive growth for national energy infrastructure projects. You will identify opportunities, shape pursuit strategy, and write compelling proposals in collaboration with our estimating team.

You will build relationships with MasTec companies, utilities, developers and engineering firms while expanding EEG’s presence across the United States. Regular travel for client meetings and industry events is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Environmental Science, Natural Resources, Engineering.
• Seven+ years of experience in business development, client relationship management, or related role.
• Experience writing and managing proposals in response to RFPs/RFQs.
• Knowledge of environmental consulting services or energy infrastructure is a plus.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, research and qualify new business opportunities with utilities, developers, engineering firms and public agencies.
• Develop account plans and pursuit strategies for priority clients and opportunities.
• Maintain an accurate opportunity pipeline and CRM records.
• Lead proposal development, including executive summaries, technical approaches and pricing strategies.
• Coordinate with leadership and estimators to develop scopes of work and ROM pricing.
• Represent EEG at industry conferences, client meetings and proposal interviews.
