Plona Partners is seeking a strategic Business Development Manager for Corporate & Financial Institutions to drive BD strategy across corporate, tax, and financial services groups. This exempt role partners with practice leaders and the expanded BD team to support client development, marketing, and external communications, aiming to grow revenue and enhance market visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field required or strongly preferred.
• MBA or JD is a plus.
• Minimum of three years of professional-services marketing and business development experience.
• Prior law firm experience is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated track record of success in marketing and business development.
• Strong understanding of practice-group and attorney business development within a professional-services environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop strategic business development plans for assigned practice and industry groups.
• Coordinate fiscal-year plans, goals, and targeted initiatives.
• Manage execution of BD plans and measure outcomes.
• Develop budgets for assigned practice groups.
• Lead client pitch materials and responses to RFPs.
• Prepare for client meetings with attorneys and track win/loss activity.
• Collaborate with Market Research to analyze opportunities.
• Participate in practice-group and leadership meetings.
• Provide timely intelligence on market developments to partners.
• Coordinate cross-practice, regional, and industry initiatives.

Formation

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
