Job summary

Cornerstone Research seeks a Senior Manager, Business Development to lead and coordinate BD activities across its Finance practices. You will guide strategic plans, oversee budgets, and mentor the BD Specialist while collaborating with practice leaders and the Marketing team.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in BD/sales/marketing within professional services, strong CRM skills, and the ability to build relationships with clients and experts.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in business development, sales, or marketing in a professional services firm.
• Finance-related or law-firm BD experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience mentoring staff is a plus.
• CRM experience is required and essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate strategic BD plans for assigned practices, including goals, sponsorships, campaigns and thought leadership.
• Coordinate and prioritize BD activity across Cornerstone Research's Finance practices.
• Evaluate new BD opportunities by building relationships and identifying revenue streams.
• Act as a knowledge management resource for BD, tracking thought leadership and outreach opportunities.
• Contribute to development and monitoring of BD budgets.
• Manage and mentor the Business Development Specialist.
• Own the Client and Expert Feedback Program, including meetings and materials.
