Job summary

Dinsmore seeks a Business Development Manager for Corporate & Finance to help attorneys and practice teams convert priorities into coordinated BD activity. This newly created role shapes strategy with firm leadership and colleagues across Marketing and BD.

Preferred locations are Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, or Columbus; other offices considered. The successful candidate will be a trusted adviser and hands-on leader who connects people and resources to execute opportunities.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of progressively responsible business development or marketing experience; law firm experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate with attorneys, firm leaders, and business professionals across offices and functions.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear, persuasive recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to develop practical BD strategy aligned with firm priorities.
• Identify opportunities within existing client relationships, prospective clients, and referral networks.
• Coordinate pitches, proposals, RFPs and presentations with relevant experience and messaging.
