Job summary

HDT is seeking a Business Development Manager for Missile Transport Systems to sustain and grow key accounts with the DoD, Army, Air Force, and OEMs. You will drive growth through current offerings and new products, leading capture activities with cross-functional teams.

You will manage a portfolio of government and OEM accounts, develop initiatives, and provide strategic input to executives. Travel to events and meetings is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 8 years in Business Development, Engineering, Sales or equivalent experience.
• Experience in DoD acquisition process required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Government and OEM accounts for HDT (BLADE).
• Develop and evaluate new initiatives and opportunities under VP/GM direction.
• Provide strategic input by evaluating opportunities and market trends.
• Conduct market analyses and competitive assessments for winning campaigns.
• Lead capture strategies aligned with growth and customer needs.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on proposals, plans, budgets, and terms.
• Market the company, provide quotes, negotiate pricing, and close sales.
• Travel to trade shows, industry days, and meetings as needed.
