Qualifications

• 4+ years of federal business development experience in DoD.
• 2+ years in aerospace/defense BD with pipeline management.
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• Proven track record closing funded pursuits.
• Established relationships in the DoD sector.
• Strong understanding of DoD acquisition and contracting.
• Self-starter capable of managing own pipeline.
• Willing to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
• U.S. Person status under ITAR.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engagement strategy to identify opportunities.
• Engage requirements owners, program offices, labs and operating forces.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Track budgets, consortia, industry days, and exercises.
• Maintain BD documentation, capture plans and CRM records.
• Run pursuits end to end from capture to award.
• Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams.
• Oversee proposals and BD documentation for programs.
• Grow prototype and experimentation work toward production.
• Run demonstrations and incorporate warfighter feedback.
• Analyze market needs and report pipeline health.
