Job summary

TotalEnergies Integrated Power USA is seeking a Senior Business Development Associate for Storage BESS in the United States. You will originate, evaluate, and advance opportunities across the U.S., translating market inputs into actionable recommendations that improve pipeline quality and project value.

You will work with cross-functional teams to support commercial execution, develop proposals, and help close deals while navigating complex market dynamics and regulatory considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in energy storage, renewables, project development, or energy markets.
• Strong understanding of electricity markets and BESS commercial drivers.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to communicate with executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead initial screening and prioritization of standalone BESS and solar-plus-storage opportunities.
• Develop customer-facing proposals, commercial narratives, and value propositions.
• Support negotiation of term sheets, contracts, and development arrangements.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders to advance opportunities through milestones.
• Maintain pipeline visibility and analyze wholesale/retail market opportunities.
• Build and review project financial models and perform valuation and risk analyses.
