Honeywell Aerospace Electromagnetic Defensive Solutions, based in San Diego, is seeking a Sr. Director of Business Development to lead growth across RF/microwave, EW, radar, and MMIC markets.

You will head a BD/sales team and partner with Defense Primes to deliver annual orders and build a robust five-year pipeline. Qualifications

• Proven 12+ years track record in RF and microwave microelectronics component sales.
• Experience with the U.S. radar and electronic warfare marketplace and major primes.
• Experience delivering commercial and international product line growth from inception to execution.
• Ability to balance tactical pursuits with long-range pipeline strategy in a matrix organization.
• Established relationships within defense industries and government contracting customers.
• Knowledge of CRM & ERP software (e.g., Salesforce & SAP).

Responsibilities

• Lead orders generation, forecasts, development and execution of capture strategy for Defense Systems.
• Win annual orders and build a five-year pipeline to demonstrate robust growth.
• Direct management of a BD/sales team and proposal managers.
• Collaborate with Engineering to align technology roadmaps with customer needs.
• Partner with VP/GM for San Diego and coordinate with EDS & Honeywell Aerospace teams.
