Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke LLP in California seeks a Business Development Coordinator to join the Marketing and BD team, supporting the Insurance + Reinsurance Litigation practice group. You will work with attorneys to plan and deliver high-quality materials aligned with growth initiatives.

Responsibilities include client/project research, tailored pitch materials, RFP responses, and thought leadership content. You will coordinate events, manage logistics, and collaborate with the communications team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of four years of marketing and business development experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services organization.
• Prior successful work history supporting a legal practice or similar experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to cultivate business with current and prospective clients.
• Conduct client, prospect, industry, competitor, and market research to inform BD efforts.
• Create high-quality, tailored pitch materials, responses to RFPs, and client presentations.
• Develop legal directory and award submissions and league table submissions.
• Develop and distribute client alerts, newsletters, blogs, and other thought leadership pieces.
• Coordinate events, sponsorships, webinars, and speaking engagements with logistics, budgeting, and collateral.
• Promote group successes and legal expertise with media opportunities and profile-raising initiatives.
• Identify cross-practice connections to increase internal visibility.
