Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. seeks an AVP & Operations Product Owner to own the roadmap, backlog, and day-to-day direction for core business capabilities. You will balance stakeholder needs with delivery priorities and guide cross-functional teams through backlog refinement and release readiness.

You will interact with business units and IT, ensuring value delivery within regulatory constraints and risk controls. Strong analytical and collaborative skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in product ownership, business analysis, technology, operations or related discipline.
• Experience supporting technology, operational, or business initiatives; exposure to Agile/Scrum is a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies is preferred as the organization evolves its delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Owns the full roadmap, backlog and day-to-day direction for products within the business area.
• Prioritizes and trades off within the approved roadmap; refines needs with stakeholders.
• Leads backlog refinement, planning, and requirement clarification; ensures delivery aligns to priorities and timelines.
• Coordinates with business, technology, vendor and functional teams; communicates progress, risks, and changes.
• Manages the lifecycle of applications, roadmaps, releases and defect tracking; ensures compliance and risk controls.
