Job summary

FORTÉ is recruiting for a sales-focused role in Detroit, MI. The position emphasizes identifying opportunities within AV environments—covering videoconferencing, meeting rooms, digital signage, and related enterprise technologies—and expanding the client base.

Ideal candidates will have a track record in solution and relationship sales, with experience in AV, broadcast, videoconferencing, IT, or network sales.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to identify and close new opportunities in AV environments.
• Experience selling to enterprise clients and managing relationships.
• Knowledge of videoconferencing, meeting spaces, and enterprise technologies is a plus.
• Strong listener with attention to detail and customer obsession.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities with new and existing customers within AV environments.
• Establish Key Accounts and expand the client base with new clients.
• Collaborate with engineering, design and project management to provide solutions.
• Engage in ongoing educational opportunities to stay current with technology.
• Help clients improve efficiency and profitability by understanding products and solutions.
• Be part of a supportive team culture aiming for long-term collaboration.
