Job summary

FORTÉ is seeking a Sales Engineer to partner with our Sales Teams in pre‑sale technical roles, delivering demonstrations and technical presentations for customers and partners. You will design and configure AV solutions to meet customer needs, and support the lifecycle from initial engagement through installation.

Ideal candidates have hands‑on experience with audio, video and control systems, strong communication skills, and the ability to work across levels from project managers to executives.

Qualifications

Prior experience in the service and installation of audio, video and presentation systems.
Knowledgeable of control systems programming as well as CAD Software and drawings.
CTS and CTS‑D certifications are a plus but not required with the right experience.

Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise to support architecture, installation and planning of AV solutions.
Research and analyze capabilities of available hardware and software options.
Interact with customers and project staff across levels to support sales cycles and proposals.
Design AV systems that meet customer needs and integrate hardware/software components.
Assist with development of formal sales plans and proposals.
