Job summary

Paragon Micro is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to partner with Finance and Executive Leadership, overseeing accounting operations, internal controls, and financial reporting for a multi-entity organization. This role blends technical accounting with strategic business insight to drive efficiency and growth.

You will work closely with Finance, Operations, Sales, Purchasing, and Leadership to enhance financial visibility, implement scalable processes, and support new business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with increasing responsibility.
• Experience supervising or leading accounting teams.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting principles (ASC 606, ASC 330).
• Experience with multi-entity ERP environment (NetSuite preferred).
• Ability to interpret accounting guidance and apply to complex transactions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Global Controller to evaluate financial trends and opportunities.
• Provide analysis and recommendations to support growth and decisions.
• Participate in strategic planning including expansion and new ventures.
• Develop meaningful financial reporting and KPIs for leadership.
• Improve processes, strengthen controls, and enhance financial performance.
