Job summary

Paragon Micro Incorporated in Buffalo Grove, IL is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to partner with Finance and Executive Leadership, overseeing accounting, internal controls, and financial reporting across a multi-entity organization.

You will design scalable processes, drive efficiency, and mentor the accounting team in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment. The base salary is up to $150,000 with annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with increasing responsibility
• Prior supervisory, lead, or Accounting Manager experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting principles (ASC 606, ASC 330)
• Experience in a multi-entity ERP environment (NetSuite preferred)

Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance and Executive Leadership to shape strategic financial direction
• Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Design scalable financial infrastructure for new ventures
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve processes and profitability
• Mentor accounting team and promote continuous improvement
