Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Principal ASIC Engineering Program Manager in a hybrid role requiring ~2 days per week on-site in Colorado. You will lead cross‑functional teams of VLSI engineers, coordinate with vendors and partners, and drive architectural and manufacturing milestones for complex ASIC programs.

Senior candidates with 10+ years of ASIC or VLSI experience, strong program management, and the ability to influence across leadership levels are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent technical discipline.
• PMP/PMI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic technical coordination and program leadership to teams of VLSI engineers and partners across all stages of ASIC development.
• Own executive‑level management of vendors and development partners, including schedules, deliverables, risk and recovery.
• Manage dependencies across design quality, verification, validation, and manufacturing readiness to align with program milestones.
• Provide decision‑quality program analysis to senior executives and product stakeholders; communicate status and recommendations clearly.
• Establish durable program‑management mechanisms and operating rhythms to improve predictability across ASIC programs.
• Lead cross‑functional alignment among engineering, operations, finance, procurement, product management, and partners.
