Job summary

Bechtel is building a semiconductor manufacturing plant in New Albany, Ohio, and seeks a field supervisor to oversee planning, safety, quality, and technical activities on a complex, multi-stakeholder project. You will help ensure operations align with schedules and safety requirements on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; international equivalence acceptable.
• 10–13 years of relevant construction experience, or 14–17 years in lieu of a degree.
• Strong knowledge of construction planning, monitoring and control.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite for reporting and documentation.
• Experience coordinating with labor unions and craft personnel.
• Understanding of OSHA requirements and Bechtel safety programs.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Control cost, schedule and optimization of craft labor on the project.
• Maintain 90-day and 3-week look-ahead schedules for labor and equipment.
• Inspect site for unsafe conditions and take corrective action.
• Coordinate safety training with Environmental Safety and Health Supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and project standards.
• Monitor craft activities for conformance with drawings and specs.
• Interface with labor relations on craft recruitment and training.
• Review craft time records using established automated tools.
• Oversee installation of materials and equipment per drawings and specs.
• Enforce field construction policies and procedures.
