Job summary

Flowers Bakeries is seeking an Area Sales Director in Salisbury, NC to lead direct store delivery sales with Independent Distributors, build key account relationships, and grow market share. You will analyze opportunities with the Sales Enablement team and VP to implement effective strategies.

The role requires 5 years in sales or general management, a bachelor’s degree, a valid DOT medical card, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience in general management or sales.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably Sales or Business Administration) or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
• Valid Driver's License and Safe Driving Record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Support DSD (direct store delivery) sales and IDs (Independent Distributors).
• Build and maintain solid customer relationships with key accounts to ensure promotion and display execution.
• Grow the customer base, seek new selling opportunities, and track sales data.
• Use digital tools to show execution wins and opportunities for continued growth.
• Collaborate with Market VP and Sales Enablement to analyze opportunities and adjust strategies.
