Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in the United States is seeking an Area Sales Director to drive direct store delivery sales and manage Independent Distributors.

The role focuses on growing customer relationships, expanding the distributor network, and leveraging digital tools to highlight execution wins and growth opportunities. The candidate will partner with a Market Vice President and Sales Enablement team to analyze market opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience in general management or sales.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably Sales or Business Administration) or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
• Valid Driver's License and Safe Driving Record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Support DSD (direct store delivery) sales and IDs (Independent Distributors).
• Build and maintain solid customer relationships with key accounts.
• Engage in sales activities, grow their customer base, seek new selling opportunities in the market, and track sales data.
• Work with Market VP and Sales Enablement to analyze market and territory opportunities to maximize sales.
