Job summary

Culmen International, LLC is hiring an Airport Screening Operations Manager to lead daily passenger checkpoint and baggage screening operations at multiple U.S. locations, including Baltimore.

You will oversee STSOs and supervisors, optimize staffing, and ensure TSA compliance while driving throughput and safety. The role requires experience in regulated security environments, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate with TSA and airport stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of aviation security or related operational management experience.
• Experience supervising large, shift-based workforces.
• Strong scheduling, workforce deployment and performance management.
• Experience operating in a regulated security environment.
• Strong decision-making, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• U.S. Citizen or U.S. National and ability to satisfy TSA suitability requirements.
• Ability to work onsite and support a 24/7 airport operation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily passenger checkpoint and checked-baggage screening operations.
• Manage STSOs and other supervisors across shifts.
• Develop and adjust schedules based on passenger volumes and staffing.
• Monitor throughput, wait times, staffing utilization, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate with TSA/FSD and airport stakeholders on daily operations.
• Implement TSA screening procedures and directives.
• Identify risks, gaps, and workforce issues; implement corrective actions.
• Support incident response, surge staffing, and irregular operations.
• Develop frontline supervisors and reinforce accountability and customer service.
• Use data to drive continuous improvement.
