Job summary

Culmen International is seeking an experienced Airport Screening Operations Manager to lead day-to-day passenger checkpoint and baggage screening operations at multiple U.S. airports.

Reporting to the Task Order Project Manager, you will ensure staffing, TSA compliance, throughput, and operational performance across shifts. You will develop schedules, supervise STSOs and other supervisors, coordinate with TSA and airport stakeholders, implement screening directives, and drive continuous

Qualifications

• 5+ years in aviation security or airport operations management.
• Experience supervising large, shift-based workforces.
• Strong scheduling, deployment, and performance-management skills.
• Experience in a regulated security environment.
• Excellent decision-making, communication, and stakeholder-management abilities.
• U.S. Citizen or U.S. National and able to satisfy TSA suitability requirements.
• Ability to work onsite at a 24/7 airport operation.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily passenger checkpoint and checked-baggage screening operations.
• Manage STSOs and other supervisors across shifts.
• Develop and adjust schedules based on volumes, flight schedules, and staffing.
• Monitor wait times, throughput, staffing, and performance.
• Coordinate with TSA/FSD and airport stakeholders on daily needs.
• Implement TSA screening procedures and directives.
• Identify risks and performance gaps; implement corrective actions.
• Support incident response, irregular operations, and surge staffing.
• Develop frontline supervisors and reinforce accountability and customer service.
• Use data and metrics to drive continuous improvement.
