Job summary

The Rockhill Group, Inc. seeks a squadron aircrew scheduler at Barksdale AFB to manage dynamic flight, ground, and simulator training schedules in high-tempo environments.

The role entails coordinating with training officers, ARM, UDMs, and DOs to satisfy currency and upgrade standards; building schedules with Patriot Excalibur (PEX) or similar systems; deconflicting aircrew availability and coordinating with Maintenance and higher HQ to ensure full mission coverage.

Qualifications

• Active SECRET clearance required or eligible to obtain.
• Eligible for unescorted access to base restricted areas and CAC issuance.
• Minimum 2 years as a squadron aircrew scheduler.
• Minimum 2 years with Patriot Excalibur (PEX) or similar scheduling system.
• Experience in a DoD military flying squadron, group, or wing environment.
• Proficient with MS Office suite (Access, Excel, SharePoint, Teams) and familiarity with NIPR/SIPR networks.
• Excellent written and oral communication for executive briefings and multi-agency coordination.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with training officers, ARM, UDMs, and DOs to build schedules meeting currency, progression, and upgrade standards.
• Build daily, weekly, and monthly flight/ground/academic/simulator schedules using Patriot Excalibur (PEX) or similar systems.
• Deconflict aircrew availability considering leave, TDY, and taskings; schedule by aircrew experience to mitigate ORM.
• Coordinate aircraft and equipment availability with Maintenance; deconflict airspace and taskings with Wing HQ.
• Facilitate rapid last-minute schedule changes due to maintenance, weather, or constraints while maintaining full mission coverage.
