Job summary

The Rockhill Group is seeking a skilled squadron aircrew scheduler to manage dynamic flight, ground, and simulator training schedules at Barksdale Air Force Base. The role supports high-tempo operations and ensures compliance with currency, progression, and upgrade standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with training officers, ARM, UDMs, and Operations Officers; building schedules with Patriot Excalibur or similar systems; deconflicting aircrew availability; and coordinating

Qualifications

• Active SECRET clearance required or eligible to obtain.
• At least 2 years as squadron aircrew scheduler.
• At least 2 years of experience with Patriot Excalibur (PEX) or similar scheduling system.
• Experience in a DoD flying squadron, group, or wing environment.
• Proficient with MS Access, Excel, SharePoint, Teams; familiar with NIPR/SIPR networks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with training officers, ARM, UDMs and Operations Officers to build schedules meeting currency, progression, and upgrade standards.
• Build daily, weekly, and monthly flight/ground/academic/simulator schedules using PEX or proprietary database systems.
• Deconflict aircrew availability considering leave, TDY, and tasks; schedule by aircrew experience to mitigate ORM.
• Coordinate aircraft and equipment availability with Maintenance; deconflict airspace, ranges, exercise taskings, and tanker support with Wing/higher headquarters.
• Facilitate rapid last-minute schedule changes due to maintenance, weather, or constraints while maintaining full mission coverage.
