Job summary

Capital Insurance Group is seeking an Agency Development Manager to manage agency relationships across a California territory and drive profitable growth. The role involves strategic partner development, cross-functional collaboration, and directing support to meet production goals across multiple lines of business.

The position requires 7+ years in related insurance roles, strong relationship skills, and the ability to work remotely within California with extensive travel (approximately 75%).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Active pursuit or completion of insurance certifications such as IIA, AFIS, CPCU, or CIC.
• Minimum seven years of progressive business experience in related insurance roles.
• Able to identify strategic partners, evaluate growth opportunities and manage territory results.
• Willingness to travel extensively; 75% travel expected.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Company’s agency relationships in an assigned territory.
• Identify strategic partners and opportunities for profitable growth.
• Direct support for achieving territory production goals across Agricultural, Commercial, and Personal Lines.
• Collaborate with internal resources to price and quote all lines of business.
• Refer leads to appropriate departments and functions.
